To whet audience appetite for the upcoming live-action Superman Returns, opening on June 30, Boomerang will show a 24 hour Man of Steel marathon, starting at 6am on June 24. The non-stop run will include episodes from Superman: the Animated Series, Justice League, and Batman Beyond which featured Superman appearances.
There's a ton of Supes-related product coming out on June 20, includeing DVD collections of the classic live action The Adventures of Superman (Seasons 3 & 4), Superboy, and the 3rd season of Lois & Clark. Not only that, but Superman: The Animated Series Volume 3 (MSRP $26.98), which includes the final 18 episodes of the 54-episode series, and Justice League: Season Two (MSRP $44.98) are coming out as well. Given the advance buzz on Superman Returns, it's not surprising that everyone's trying to cash in.
